I initially ordered these pants in a large, believing the size guide was accurate since my jeans fit perfectly at a 31-inch waist. When they arrived, the blue color was stunning and the length was just right, but the waist was way too small—I could barely button them. Clearly, that wasn’t a 31-inch waist. Disappointed, I returned them and opted for an XL, as I liked the style. However, the second pair arrived in a different shade of blue; it was a lighter tone and not as vibrant as the first. Although I could button these, they were still uncomfortably tight when sitting. Additionally, it seems that larger sizes come with longer lengths, as I was constantly stepping on the hems. Regrettably, I’ll have to return these too. I was really looking forward to these pants. If you plan to buy them, I recommend going up two sizes and be ready for alterations.

These pants are incredibly comfortable and have a great fit. However, after washing them on a delicate cycle, one of the belt loops came off. If I were someone who wore belts or wasn’t handy with a needle and thread, this would be a significant issue. I’ve also noticed considerable pilling on the front near the pocket, and I didn’t even put them in the dryer.

These have great quality and a beautiful bright light blue color, but they are definitely designed for taller individuals or those with long torsos. At 5’0″, when I hold them up so the legs don’t drag on the floor, they reach all the way to my chest. I attempted to wear them higher, but they didn’t flatter my shape at all. It was obvious that I, as a shorter person, was trying to wear clothes made for taller people. I would highly recommend these for anyone who is taller or has a longer torso.

I absolutely love these pants and plan to purchase them in more colors! The material is fantastic and they are perfect for work. I do find the waist a bit loose, but they may have been designed for someone taller. In the first few pictures, I’m wearing a belt for a better fit, while the other pictures show them without a belt, highlighting the extra fabric in the back. For reference, I’m 5’3″ and weigh 115 lbs, and I ordered an XS. I intend to get them tailored once I buy the other colors.

I bought these pants in B-BLACK, size XL. For reference, I typically wear medium to large sizes or 8-12/29-31 in bottoms and jeans. I wear a size 6 or 8 in Lulu leggings, and I’m 5’3″ with a short torso; my measurements are approximately 44″-33″-44″ (bust-waist-hip). I found that these run slightly small, especially if you have larger hips or a fuller backside.
I decided to size up due to concerns about them being too tight, and I’m glad I did! While a large would have fit, I really enjoy the comfortable yet flattering looseness of the XL. Paired with a bodysuit (this one is from Pumiey, which I also reviewed), the waist fit is spot on. They offer a relaxed fit around the tummy without being overly baggy, and I appreciate that the pleats are very subtle. This style lacks the elastic back, which I prefer, but I do wish there were some faux slit pockets in the back, like other slacks have.
Being on the shorter side, I found some extra length at the bottom. Even though my legs are proportionately longer, I could wear heels comfortably, but since I mostly wear flats, I’ll probably have to hem them by an inch or two. My only minor complaint is that I wish the button were darker, as the tan one feels a bit cheap.
The material is a bit tricky to describe; it’s fairly typical for Amazon loose slacks. It’s thin and slightly slick but not very stretchy. They have a cool feel on the inside and move well. I can’t say how they will hold up over time, but I plan to update after several wears and washes.
Overall, I would definitely recommend these, but consider sizing up if you have larger hips or a fuller backside. I’ve been looking for affordable slacks since it’s been a while since I’ve dressed up for the office, especially after gaining weight years ago, and these are a great way to ease back into it. I also purchased this same style in B-BEIGE in XL and will share pictures of those. I may try the C style next, as they feature tonal buttons and back slit pockets, even if they do have an elastic waistband.
